Dear Diary,
There's a new show on tv that I watch every day. Mum says I shouldn't waste my time watching it, that it's a load of rubbish. But I'm addicted!! I can't stop. It's called Neighbours. It's very new. It's even better than A Country Practice.
Because there are lots of young people in it. TV's full of shows about old people so it probably won't last very long.
There are two young and spunky people on the show who are in love. They are called Scott and Charlene. They are both really nice and have great hair. I'm not sure whose hair I like better. Scott's or Charlene's? And Charlene's a mechanic who wears overalls. I want to be a lot like her. She is cool. I don't' know what Scott does, but it doesn't seem to matter. He is very pretty.
But guess what? They have been going together on the show for a while, and it's getting really awkward to watch the show at home in case mum an dad walk in, because, guess what they're talking about doing? Yes, having SEX! Oh my god. Scott has booked a room at the really classy hotel and resort on the show, Lassiters, And Scott's also asked their neighbour Des for advice about "doing it"! Poor Des, he works at a bank and he just looked awkward all the time and throws the ball over and over again at their dog Bouncer mumbling something about Daphne . . .
If Scott and Charlene are really going to "Do It", I'm going to have to have a two hour phone conversation with my friend Lucinda about it. . I just wish our house had a telephone with a long chord like they do on Family Ties . . . .I would have more privacy! I wonder if doing it is more fun than our science teacher Mr Harris made it out to be in Sex Education? I would rather burn my eyebrows with a bunsen burner than talk about sex in front of the boys
Better go. Mum's taking me to the shop and she said I can buy a chockito. Yum.
