Definitely should have made it. There are a couple more as well. Shouldn't Gary Larson be there as well?

I have enjoyed Rugby League for years. Thanks for the efforts when conducting and managing the competition in recent years. I do feel though, the current schedule of games has to be assesed as soon as possible.
We currently have AFL and Soccer approaching league areas and taking juniors away which is affecting the development of the game. Recently their have been numerous complaints by experienced radio and TV callers claiming the competition is unfair in the way the draw is set out due to Origin and representative games taking away Rep players from club games and low crowds to games. This brings negative comments on a excellent game. I realise the NRL has to make revenue just like all sports, but to bring crowds back, all T.V games you sell to television should be sold on the pretence of only airing them two hours after kickoff thus making fans go to games in person. No live games via T.V.
I have devised a format where you could play a pre-season K.O lasting for four rounds. A Cup K.O and Shield K.O. If teams win the first week they are in the Cup and if they get knocked out in the first round they could organise a separate competition or second tier K.O being the Shield. This way most teams will be playing the four weeks. Then have the three Origin games back to back, Then three Internationals. Then commence the Premiership where each team only plays another once in the regular season, Thus having only 15 rounds and 4 weeks of finals games. This would keep the League making revenue for 29 weeks of the year. All Representative games would not bother club games and crowd attendance would triple with no live games.

I do not think Gordon Tallis should have made it. And glad he didn't.
