Slash helps Fergie ruin Gunners song

The idea of pop star Fergie singing Guns 'n' Roses' classic 'Sweet Child O' Mine' is scary enough, but it gets worse when GNR guitarist Slash helps her do it. Watch the woeful video.
He surprised everybody last weekend when he joined her onstage at a concert in California so she could sing a woeful version of the classic.
Now we realise His Slashness might be a little upset about Scott Weiland leaving his band Velvet Revolver. Or maybe he's just trying to really piss Axl Rose off, but surely this is taking it too far.

In his trademark top hat, Slash played guitar for Fergie's covers 'Sweet Child... and Heart's 'Barracuda' while she shook, shimmied and rubbed herself all over him.
We'd pay good money to hear what Axl thought of her version.

Slash has a 'play with anyone at anytime' policy.
He loves playing so much that he just doesn't care... he's played with everyone from Jeff Beck and Steven Tyler to Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz etc.
Stop judging the man. You guys are just jealous 'coz Slash is doing what he wants.. and you're not!

I still don't know what to think of this. I've been a die hard G n' R fan since I was 8 years old, and followed Slash's career since.
It can't really be any worse then Sheryl Crow's version, can it?
And really, who cares, what Axl thinks, I hope he gets his head out of his ass long enough to hear this.

Ruin the song? I think not.
Slash nailed all the guitar parts and Fergie sang it better than Axl does these days.

If it wasn't for the f!@k trying to channel Axi in the background, it might have been OK... would be good to hear version not hacked on a mobile 30 rows back.

What the Slash??? Why would you do that? I have a lot of respect for Slash but now not so sure. That is one of my all time fav songs. Fergie you are no Axl Rose never, ever ever sing that song again!!!!!!!

I think Fergie has a GN'R fetish. I've heard her throw a bit of 'Welcome to the Jungle' into her version of 'Barracuda'. At least Slash isn't just sitting around on his arse waiting for a new VR singer to magically appear. By the way, where was Duff?
