Perfect by Fairground Attraction I think the band was. The film clip with all the sport bloopers is classic. I think Wide World of Sports used it one year.

Since you showed England's 1990 World Cup effort, I'd like to recommend Frank Skinner's and David Baddiel's "Three Lions" from Euro 96 and France 98.

Best sports anthem would have to be "Eye of the Tiger", fer sure!
(the ever-so-tight jeans...no wonder they (the band) were walking quite upright!)
