Ben Cousins has been banned from the AFL for the 2008 season, but is free to play in the lower leagues.

Apparently the classic Santa cry of 'ho, ho, ho' is being dropped by major department store Father Christmases as a result of its close similarity to the anti-women catch-cry of many American rap stars.

It's back! After what seems like forever since Australia's 5-0 whitewash over the hapless Poms, Test cricket returns with a short series against Sri Lanka, followed by another series with the Indians.
